Here’s everything you need to know for a seamless first experience.
The “pre-arrival” checklist.
The Length: Your hair should be at least the length of a grain of rice (roughly 2 weeks of growth) or longer for the sugar to be most effective.
The Prep: Please arrive with clean skin- free of lotions, oils, or deodorants.
The Timing: Gently exfoliate up to 48 hours before your appointment with what you have. We can recommend at‑home products during your visit, however, avoid exfoliating on the day of your appointment.
The Comfort: If you’re extra sensitive or just nervous, feel free to take an over the counter pain reliever 30 minutes prior to your appointment.
What to Expect.
Arrival: Tucked away in a quiet studio, you’ll find a clean, calm environment with some chairs to wait in. Your sugarist will greet you at your appointment time, but feel free to use our restroom around the corner- it is stocked with complementary wipes and tampons for your convenience.
The Consult: We start every visit with a quick skin cleanse and analysis to ensure the Sugar Society Method is tailored to your specific needs.
The Technique: We use a signature two-flick method which means less repetitive “flicking” on the skin and a much more comfortable, efficient removal process. If this is your first appointment, you can expect about a 30 minute appointment, depending on your desired service. Don’t worry, we can take extra breaks as needed- your comfort is our number one priority.
The Close: We end with a warm towel to melt away any residual sugar left behind and leave you with a soothing serum to apply anywhere we just treated to calm the skin and keep you glowing.
The After.
Checkout: Once you are ready, you will come back to the lobby to checkout and purchase any aftercare products. We accept cash as well as all major payment types including contactless (NFC) tap, chip insert, and magnetic-stripe swipe for Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
The 24-hour rule: Avoid heavy sweating, hot showers, tight fitting clothes, and friction for 24-48 hours after your sugar appointment to keep the risk of infection and ingrowns at bay.
The Results: You’ll stay smooth for 3-6 weeks and experience a finer hair regrowth following your appointment. Consistency is the secret to creating thinner, slower hair growth, so be sure to book your maintenance appointment before you head out.

We are located inside Winks Esthetics at 91st and Elm in Broken Arrow, OK. On the back side of the building, you will find some pink parking spots and a small wooden awning- this is where you will enter.
